Tammy is an independently Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and is CPR certified. She has also graduated with Honors from the University of California - Santa Barbara with a degree in Communications and a minor in Exercise and Sport Studies.
Tammy has run in several half marathons including the Long Beach Marathon, OC Marathon, and the Great Race of Agoura. She also enjoys cycling, hiking, snowboarding, and healthy cooking. Tammy strives to make a positive difference in her clients’ lives and is committed to helping them achieve their goals. Tammy specializes in Weight Loss, Strength Training, Endurance Training, Core Strength Training, and Pre- and Post-Natal Training.
Tammy has also completed the following courses through NASM: Core Training, Balance Training, Flexibility Training, Reactive Training, Resistance Training, and Senior Fitness Training.
Sofee has been a fitness enthusiast her whole life. She was a competitive athlete for many years and then moved onto coaching, managing and eventually teaching and training in a gym setting as well as outdoors. She has over 10 years experience teaching fitness boot camp classes and is also a pre/postnatal specialist. She holds a number of national certifications, including NASM, ACE, ISSA, Tae Bo, Spinning, and Extreme Boot Camp.
Sofee is also a nationally certified wellness coach and belongs to various fitness organizations, always striving to stay informed about the industry. Sofee used her expertise to write fitness columns for the online publication Patch, the reputable website ExtremeFitness.com and has also been featured in demonstrational videos for WalkStyles.com and print ads for Johnny G Spinning. Her teaching style is based on the fundamentals—hard work, dedication and a whole lot of fun! She is proud to be an instructor for Total Training Boot Camp, because it focuses on these fundamentals in a time-efficient format. When she is not teaching, you can find Sofee chasing her 2 young boys around town.
Jessica is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, is CPR/AED Certified, and has an extensive background in many areas of fitness including: cardiorespiratory & weight training, Pilates, Barre, Yoga, & of course boot camp. She enjoys incorporating a little bit of everything from her background into each boot camp workout, and will customize each personal training plan to fit client’s individual goals. Jessica loves being outdoors, and spends her free time horseback riding, hiking, biking, kayaking, stand-up-paddle boarding, ice-skating and running. She recently completed the 2013 Beach Cities Challenge, running three half-marathons within the year.
Jessica is committed to providing the best experience for all personal training and boot camp participants. She believes in making fitness a fun, positive experience while getting a great workout that achieves results. Jessica is truly passionate in helping others become healthier, feel better and reach their fitness goals. She offers a straightforward and results-oriented approach to health and fitness for all levels and age groups.
Kaylie is a Certified Personal Trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine and is a group instructor. She teaches the seniors class as well as one on one training, specifically focusing on corrective exercise, sport performance, and weight loss. She has been in the fitness industry for 5 years, working with athletes as well as seniors and the general population. She has a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, Strength and Conditioning, from Cal State Fullerton. Kaylie's passion is working with balance and mobility in seniors, training athletes in running, Olympic Lifting, power training, and agility training. She is a former high school/college soccer player, as well as a competitive distance runner. In her spare time, Kaylie loves to run, olympic lift, and do yoga. Kaylie is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Exercise Physiology, in hopes of doing research in Gerokinesiology and Strength and Conditioning. Kaylie has a huge passion for helping others move better and feel better, catering to any age group, and loves making fitness fun!
Rachel Silverman is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist, Yoga Alliance 200hr E-RYT and Corepower Yoga Sculpt certified. Rachel has always been physically active, growing up with softball, dance, cheerleading, figure skating, and going to the gym. Rachel currently loves yoga, running, and working out at the gym. Rachel has completed 5k, 10k, and half-marathon races. Her bootcamp classes are challenging and fun at the same time. Her classes will leave you feeling stronger, more flexible, and happier overall.
