Tammy is an independently Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and is CPR certified. She has also graduated with Honors from the University of California - Santa Barbara with a degree in Communications and a minor in Exercise and Sport Studies.
Tammy has run in several half marathons including the Long Beach Marathon, OC Marathon, and the Great Race of Agoura. She also enjoys cycling, hiking, snowboarding, and healthy cooking. Tammy strives to make a positive difference in her clients’ lives and is committed to helping them achieve their goals. Tammy specializes in Weight Loss, Strength Training, Endurance Training, Core Strength Training, and Pre- and Post-Natal Training.
Tammy has also completed the following courses through NASM: Core Training, Balance Training, Flexibility Training, Reactive Training, Resistance Training, and Senior Fitness Training.
Rachel Silverman is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist, Yoga Alliance 200hr E-RYT and Corepower Yoga Sculpt certified. Rachel has always been physically active, growing up with softball, dance, cheerleading, figure skating, and going to the gym. Rachel currently loves yoga, running, and working out at the gym. Rachel has completed 5k, 10k, and half-marathon races. Her bootcamp classes are challenging and fun at the same time. Her classes will leave you feeling stronger, more flexible, and happier overall.
Jessica is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, is CPR/AED Certified, and has an extensive background in many areas of fitness including: cardiorespiratory & weight training, Pilates, Barre, Yoga, & of course boot camp. She enjoys incorporating a little bit of everything from her background into each boot camp workout, and will customize each personal training plan to fit client’s individual goals. Jessica loves being outdoors, and spends her free time horseback riding, hiking, biking, kayaking, stand-up-paddle boarding, ice-skating and running. She recently completed the 2013 Beach Cities Challenge, running three half-marathons within the year.
Jessica is committed to providing the best experience for all personal training and boot camp participants. She believes in making fitness a fun, positive experience while getting a great workout that achieves results. Jessica is truly passionate in helping others become healthier, feel better and reach their fitness goals. She offers a straightforward and results-oriented approach to health and fitness for all levels and age groups.
Mary is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, and is also a Health and Fitness Instructor through the ACSM. She graduated from Calvin College with a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology. Mary has been working with clients of all ages and fitness levels for over seven years, and additionally has extensive experience working with individuals with various disabilities. Mary is a certified STOTT Pilates Mat instructor and likes to incorporate the principals and exercises into workouts. Mary has completed multiple triathlons and half marathons, and enjoys training clients for any race distance from 5Ks to full marathons. She is passionate about creating functional and exciting workouts, and believes in integrating fitness into daily life. She strives to ensure her clients are satisfied with their workouts and working towards reaching their goals. Mary loves to spend her free time mountain biking, dancing, hiking, and playing beach volleyball.
Chante is an AFAA certified Personal Trainer, NCSF (National Council On Strength & Fitness) Personal Trainer and CPR certified. Her fitness career began as a Group Exercise Instructor in 1987 in Southwest Florida. With over 24 years in the fitness industry she has taught a variety classes as well as personal training in private homes, country clubs and several fitness facilities in Florida.
Chante has completed several 5k runs and three Triathlons. She enjoys golf, running and most recently hiking in the canyons of Orange County. She is truly passionate about helping people meet their fitness goals. She has had the pleasure of training men, women, and children with special needs, ages 18-80. Whether working one-on-one or in a group, Chante helps each client workout in a safe, effective, inspiring environment.
Chante and her family recently relocated to California and brings her years of experience and passion to the Total Training Team.
Heather is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. She graduated from CNI College at the top of her class, earning herself the Salutatorian Award. All her life she has had an interest in the health and fitness industry. She played sports as a child and teenager, and by the time she was in her early twenties, she became a personal trainer. She also enjoys learning how to make healthy new recipes, bike riding along the beach, and taking hikes while camping. She makes it her goal to strive for the happiness and satisfaction of every one of her clients. She specializes in Weight Loss, Endurance Training, and Strength Training.
Heather has also completed the following courses through the NSCA: Biomechanics, Structural Kinesiology, Bioenergetics, Functional Training, Flexibility and Conditioning.
Megan Taylor is a NESTA Certified Personal Trainer and a CrossFit Level 1 Certified Trainer. She was a competitive gymnast for eleven years and finally retired after reaching the collegiate level at UC Davis. Since then, she has finished a B.S. in Kinesiology at Cal State Fullerton and is currently completing an M.S. in Athletic Training at California Baptist University. Megan is a competitive athlete for her home CrossFit box and hopes to become nationally ranked next year. She has experience in coaching club gymnastics, personal training, and teaching group classes at a corporate gym.
Megan’s hobbies include being outdoors, hiking, running at the beach, cooking, and reading. She enjoys helping her clients obtain healthier lifestyles by setting nutrition and fitness goals. Megan specializes in strength and endurance training while incorporating exercise that promotes efficient movement during the workout and throughout activities of daily life.
Ashley is a Certified Personal Trainer and Strength Coach with many years of experience in the health and fitness industry. She has had the privilege of providing one on one and group training for pre/post operative clients, geriatrics, youth, collegiate and professional athletes, and most importantly the average sedentary person. Ashley brings a positive attitude, creativity, and expert knowledge to each and every workout. Kristin is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer who is passionate about helping others reach their fitness goals. Kristin's training philosophy is built on the foundation that by combining safe and effective exercise programs, healthy food choices and a positive and committed attitude, all fitness goals can be accomplished. Kristin has an extensive athletic background, and combines her education and dedication to fitness to help clients reach their full potential.
Kory is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He is also a lifelong athlete and passionate about health and fitness. Kory is a graduate of William Jessup University, with a Degree in Business Management. Beginning with his college soccer team, Kory comes to us with several years of team and group training. Kory is an energetic trainer who loves to motivate and encourage everyone around him to work hard in order to continually grow and better themselves. He loves being active, doing almost everything outdoors and is almost always up for trying any thing at least once.
Melissa is a Personal Trainer, certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), with over 12 years of experience in the fitness industry. With multiple certifications from Balance Conditioning to Nutrition & Sports Performance, Melissa uses both her personal and professional experiences to support her lifetime goal and passion for helping others. She has a passion for teaching her clients how they can incorporate health and wellness into their lives in a fun and efficient way! She enjoys working with people of all ages and fitness backgrounds to achieve their goals!
Melissa loves the outdoors! She is an avid skier, hiker, and workout enthusiast! She enjoyed sailing the Atlantic coast growing up and hopes to do the same now in the Pacific. She loves learning and exploring health and fitness and enjoys reading on those topics.
Janice is the owner and principal dietitian of SoCal Nutrition & Wellness. Janice works with individuals, groups, and corporations to promote overall wellness and to manage a wide range of nutrition-related diseases and disorders. Janice excels at educating groups and individuals and has helped thousands of patients in their efforts to manage weight, diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, digestive disorders, disordered eating behaviors, and more. She uses a non-diet approach and employs motivational interviewing and intuitive eating principles to guide her clients toward their nutrition and wellness goals. As a life-long athlete and exercise enthusiast, Janice also has a passion for sports and exercise nutrition and is professionally trained to help others achieve optimal nutrition for sports performance.
