What is H.I.I.T. Training?
H.I.I.T. stands for High Intensity Interval Training. High-intensity interval training (HIIT) describes any workout that alternates between intense bursts of activity and fixed periods of less-intense activity. Our H.I.I.T Boot Camp consists of 3 high intensity cardio intervals on our treadmills with 3 strength training intervals in between that are performed at a less intense level. The magic of high intensity interval training is that you keep burning fat even after you leave the studio. In short, your body isn’t able to bring in enough oxygen during periods of hard work. Therefore, you accumulate a “debt” of oxygen that must be repaid post-workout in order to get back to normal. That means you burn more fat and calories in the 24 hours after a HIIT workout than you do after, say, a steady-pace run.

How long is each H.I.I.T. Class?
All of our H.I.I.T. Classes are 60 minutes in length.
What can I expect from a normal day at Total Training?
Our Orange County High Intensity Interval Training Classes are 60 minutes in length and are a mix of strength training, cardio, and circuit training into 60 minutes of PURE FUN! Classes vary daily to continually challenge new groups of muscles, ensure the best results, and keep the routines fresh and exciting. You will participate in a range of cardiovascular activities and resistance training, such as Cone Drills, Lunges, Squats, Obstacle Courses, Push-ups, Jumping Jacks, Weight Training, Mat Work, Sprints, Jump Rope, Running (short distances), Stability Ball/Medicine Ball Training, Stretching, and many other fun and exciting activities that add up to a killer workout! How long will it take before I see results?

What if I sign up for the two or three day plan and then want to upgrade to the Unlimited option?
Don’t worry, after starting at Total Training, many people realize how fun and convenient our High Intensity Interval Training classes are and want to sign up for more days. They also realize that they will achieve greater results if they attend more often. In these situations, we will simply pro-rate the additional fee from the time you decide to sign up for more days. What do I do if I need to miss a class?
You can make up missed classes by attending more often per week than your purchase dictates within the session duration period or by attending more than one class in a day. If you need to miss class due to travel, vacation, etc. we will extend your session duration for the amount of expected time missed provided that you notify us via email at least 7 days in advance of expected missed classes. If you are enrolled in auto-payments we will prorate your next payment to reflect expected missed classes (7 days notice is still required). If we do not receive notification missed classes will be forfeited. No refunds for missed classes.
Missed classes due to illness or injury will be excused and credited with a doctor's note. Total Training reserves the right to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Total Training reserves the right to change missed class policy at any time.
Where do I park?
There is ample free parking surrounding all of our Orange County Boot Camp locations.
Do we still meet for H.I.I.T. Outdoor if it rains?
Yes, we meet rain or shine so please come dressed appropriately.
What if I have an injury?
Please let us know immediately so we can advise you on how to alter the exercises in order to prevent further injury. Or if the injury warrants it, recommend Personal Training.
